MY son purchased a car in Sept 2021, and he called every week to see if his license plate are in the office. Everyone in that dealership doesn't know anything, they ignore emails and calls.
It's going to be 2 months soon and my son doesn't have a licensed plate, and we haven't received anything from the bank to see when we are going to pay. I did make the worse mistake to purchase a car in Justine Toyota .
I don't recommend this dealer at all. Run everyone from the dealership, don't waste your money.

I came back again to give them 1 star. If 0 star was there, I could prefer to provide them with that.
Lustine Toyota is a place that you will get disappointed in all aspect of their service. First, I got insulted by the Spanish accent finance department with her middle finger and said to me a stupid customer in front of the general manager. Why, because I caught her when she added a couple of thousands without my knowledge or agreement; I would recommend everyone that this side of the story needs attention!!! I agreed to pay only $26500 that includes all the fees, tag, registration, and processing fee, but I made $12001 down payment.
So, the finance amount I made with Toyota was $14500, but Toyota sends me the wrong amount, which is $233.94 vs. $475.32 and forwarded to a credit bureau too.
On top of that, I had a $1250 rebate promotion, but she put it somewhere like a down payment. I think she cheated the rebate somewhere. Finally, she decided not to go further with my contract and the manager changed her by Brandon( finance specialist).
But, I guess that they all trained to lie and cheat. Brandon told me that Toyota will send you the next 3 or 4 weeks with the right amount which is $233.94; unfortunately, he didn't send me any. I called Toyota financial service a million times about the issues, and they keep telling me to go back to the dealership, and they are telling me that you only made a down payment of $1250. Unfortunately, I have a receipt in my hand, including the contact I signed.
I called many times and went a lustine Toyota three times of one hour drive from Maryland, but I couldn't get fix still. I guess her name is Doory.
They should fire this girl soon if they need to run the business well. The issue is still going on the last 45 days.....who the *** will fix it!

My car died on me this week. Out of the blue.
I had no idea a new car would be something I'd be doing any time soon. My credit isn't the greatest and I had nothing to put down however, I worked with a sales guy named Logan and he was great. I got approved for 2 new cars. Nothing down but, it wasn't what I wanted.
I spoke with the Manager Jeff and he told me to wait until today to come in, That he was going to see what he could do to get me into the car I wanted. Today comes and I call and call and call and text and email and I get nothing. I got placed on hold for 18 minutes. The receptionist keeps sending me to Jeff's voice mail.
Finally she transfers me to another sales person who then says he is going to have another sales person call me back. Guess what, no one ever did.
I get that my circumstances are not great however, I was approved for 2 cars so, even if I could not get what I wanted, I was getting something. It's clear that the employees were instructed to behave in the way that they did because there is no other reason they all behaved this way towards me today. I think that is the most disgusting dealership ever.
To treat any customer or potential customer this way is disrespectful and horrible.
No matter what their circumstances are. My time was wasted and now, I have to continue looking for cars when I should be in one.
I sincerely hope that this is now how they treat customers whose sales don't result in a hefty commission!

WATCH the freight fees (ask before signing anything!!)
I tend to agree, they gouged me with the "freight fees", where-as I have read that the standard fee is $700 to $1000, they charged me freight fee on top of their processing fee and other standard costs. They stuck to their guns and while the car was probably a good deal in terms of negotiation, they seemed to strive to get that money back in increased or "non-negotiable" service fees. I will be contacting consumer affairs though the fees probably fall in such a gray area, that buyers should just definitely ask first about this fee and other fees before settling on a price and agreeing on a purchase.
Harassing Phone Calls
Let me first start off by saying that no one in my family owns a Toyota, are looking to buy a Toyota, or ever plan to buy a Toyota after this incident. I have just received another harassing marketing call from the people at Lustine Toyota.
When I instructed them to take my number off their call list, instead of acquiescence, I was scolded by the employee about how I should be more pleasant with him when he calls and interrupts my family's dinner.
No one in my house has ever requested information from Lustine Toyota nor will I ever do business with them or their sensitive staff of sissies. After I finish typing this, my next letter is to corporate.

Recall service
I made an appointment for a Power Window Master Switch safety recall. I was very clear as to what the appointment was for. I left work early and checked in for the appointment. When I met with the service person he told me they only perform that service in the mornings. I was very clear when I made the appointment as to what the appointment was for. When I asked to see the manager he told me that the manager was not there.
So, to recap, I made an appointment for a safety recall service. I was there at the time of the appointment. The service person told me that I could not have the recall service done at the time of my appointment and that I would have to come back at another time.
My time is valuable and I do not trust that if I can back I could have the recall service performed.
This is not the first time that service at this center has been nonexistent. I will not return, even for a safety recall. Be aware of this center as they only want your money and cannot be trusted!

Garbage car dealer. All prior negative comments and reviews on here are accurate.
Somehow hard to understand why they think it’s alright to constantly mess with peoples time, money, and credit score. They sell customers financing before they are even approved. Not only posing problems which contracts ending and having to be resigned (due to them not being able to sell them to banks/third parties). They don’t respond to emails and will try and contact you at 3am to have you send them documents that they already have or have lost due to their own disfunction.
Plus a 6 hour wait for an oil change that I am still sitting here waiting for. Was told my repairs were covered under warranty, looks like some BS as well given now I’m short extra $$$ for repairs (only had the car for a few months). Was told by the manager that he would reimburse me for this but I’m still waiting to hear back.
Glad to know I’m in the mix with what it seems to be the rest of the car buying community when I saw pick a different car dealer to shop with. James at Easterns (15 min drive from lustine) will provide a service that is sound and without ***
Horrible
They offer a lifetime powertrain warranty. They tell me that I have a rear main seal leak.
Normally I deal with Ryan. He no longer works there. I ask why it isn't covered. Apparently, my water pump was bad 19 months ago( never replaced it.
) and I have dirty cabin filters. Also, one time when I brought it I. For the service, and they told me didn't have time to look it over, they apparently did look it over, and I was supposed to get seals serviced. Yet next maintanence, nothing was said about it.
Only brakes which I did get replaced. They won't honor their warranty. Also, with my wife's car, they say all these random things are wrong. I check Them and they're not bad.
Magically next service they're fine and something else is wrong. They are a scam. Do. Not.
Go. Here. Drive to Springfield if you need a Toyota dealer.
Tldr; service department is full of lies.
Won't honor warranty.

He was condescending kept telling to leave his office when all i wanted was his last name. He threated to call security bc i refuse to leave his office. His manager took my side.

I went to fix one door lock and after that all doors were broken
WOW-PISS POOR PEOPLE
I would say the reason the service is normally sub par is because they hire convicted felons, women batterers and child abusers. For example, they have someone named Joshua Will currently working there that obtained drug felonies while in the military.
Then he abused his son and son's mother. Definitely stay away!! I would suggest going anywhere but here if you want the chance of meeting decent sales people that aren't trying to screw you over in one way or another.
I have heard other stories of the people they have hired there as well. Unless you absolutely have to, definitely take your business elsewhere where they have people that care about their customers and quality service.
Preferred solution: Double check on the people you are hiring if you actually care about your customers
Dangerous dangerous driving
12/1/2017 5:50 pm while driving on cardinal drive a lustine silver van tag #xtp7935 speed directly to the left in front of me ,no turn signal when the vehicle was in front of me it shut off the lights on the vehicle and sped away following the van towards route 1 the traffic light was red so it pulled into the left turn lane (i was going straight through the light ) i was able to pull next to it and took a picture of the liscense plate. An accident could have been easily caused by the ignorant driver and i must add i will call the local number that widely in view on the back of the van on Saturday. Its an experience like this that would and will help me to decide where NOT to buy a vehicle!

I am customer for more than three years.....But now I call for to make an appointment for my car. I call 4 times and one lady answer me and cut my call four times I was very up set . And when I came to lustine toyota service theguy it was lunch time and dont told me take a seat.

Unprofessionalism to handle accounts. They approve loans and a month later call you to come back to sign paperwork because the loan certificate expired.
We were approved a loan a month ago. My daughter drove out of the dealership with a 2016 Journey. On Sept. 19th we received a phone call to come back and submit paperwork that was already submitted.
We called because we had problems, we wete on our way to the dealership on the 20th, and the person handling the paperwork was in a rush to leave and told us to come back on Thursday, we told her ok and another cancellation from Abby. On Friday, my daughter received a call from Abby not to sign papers, but to return the truck and take her trade in. This Lustine dealership in Woodbridge, VA is the worst place to purchase cars. 10 years ago we were approved for a Siena mini van, and 5 days later we were called to return the car.
Our seller had the nerves to asks us if we were illegals and if our social security number was correct. We are born citizens and our SS were assigned to us in P.R.
Bad sale
Sold me a vehicle which was no inspected right. Front and rear bumpers were replaced and not put on properly.
They got repainted but over sprayed into my grill and on the back they got spray paint all over my exhaust. Never informed me of so much rust under the car and on the bottom side kit. I tried to have them fix it but they would not do anything. Attempted to trade my car in since I already had it for about a month, but the trade in value was ridiculously low.
Around 5K below what I owed on my loan. As a 18 year old first buyer, worth experience I never wanted to have with my first car.
Why is still an official Toyota dealer?
With a brand name dealer you expect some guarantees when buying a used car.

Agreed on an off-the-lot price and they still added all kinds of fees afterwards. I was running out of time and needed a car and just paid up. Within a week the water-pump started leaking. I noticed the rising temperature just in time and stopped driving to prevent any further damage. For days it was impossible to get Herbie Rivera or Anthony Rivera (Tony) on the phone to make their great warranty claims true. Finally I had to pay everything myself and was left with the bill, while I even did not get my plates yet.
